The Complete Garage® got its beginning as the residential epoxy division of a Minnesota based commercial and industrial flooring contractor.

To better dedicate our efforts to the residential garage market, The Complete Garage, L.L.C. was incorporated as a completely separate corporation, in 2000. The Complete Garage name was trademarked in 2001. The first Complete Garage retail showroom was opened in Hopkins, MN, a Minneapolis suburb, in June 2002.
